Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insuarnce at this time. I can provide you with a superbill for you to send to your insurance, but I highly encourage you to speak to your insurance first to confirm what they will reimburse, if anything.

What should I expect in therapy?
After I receive your initial inquiry, we will schedule a brief (15- 20 min) complimentary phone call. If we both think we could be a good therapeutic fit, we will then schedule our first session.
The first session I will get to know you better, your history, and what is bringing you to therapy so we know what to work on. Therapy sessions with me are very conversational and warm. My goal is that you're comfortable and share openly.

How long does therapy last?
Initially, I like to see clients once a week. After the first four weeks, we can reassess and decide whether biweekly or even monthly sessions work best for you. You get to choose!
Most people start seeing small amounts of growth after the first 3-5 sessions. The total duration of therapy varies from client to client. We will work together to find the length of time that works for you.
Can I stop therapy if I start to feel better?
You can stop whenever you'd like. I can help you develop a plan for maintaining your progress and handling future situations in our last session.
